Lizard Point in Cornwall is the southernmost tip of the Lizard Peninsula. It is the southernmost tip of Great Britain, at 49°57' N, and, with the exception of parts of the Isles of Scilly is the southernmost part of England.

Mullion is the largest village on the Lizard Peninsula with all the amenities to make an enjoyable holiday - restaurant, pubs, cafes, mini-supermarket, chemist and Post Office. There are also many craft shops, art galleries and the famous Trenance Chocolate factory at Mullion Meadows.

St Melina's church dates back to 1540 and is well worth a visit to see its remarkable wood carvings and Serpentine Stone.

Mullion Cove (just a mile away) is a small fishing harbour where you can experience wild life at first hand, seals, basking sharks, choughs, peregrine falcons are all regular visitors. If you fancy a fishing trip mackerel are always obliging!

Some places for the children to visit are Flambards, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Roskillies (home made ice cream) and many pretty cove and beaches. For adults why not visit some sub-tropical gardens, St. Michael's Mount or St Ives
